Painted as part of 'The Secret Life of Ely Cathedral" OuseLife exhbition, this oil painting on canvas, size 100x80x3.8cm depicts a stonemason carrying out essential repairs on the fabric of the building.  I was privileged to be allowed up the scaffolding both outside and inside the Cathedral where I touched the ceiling of this remarkable building.
