Inspired by the Costa Rica coastlines where intricately lined rock surfaces lie on the sea line close to the jungle vegetation and trees which line the beaches.  These have become somewhat merged in this painting, as they are in life, coexisting, part of an ecosystem, a precious environment which in places is under threat from inevitable development.  A reminder of interconnectedness.  Oil and cold wax on cradled panel set in a painted tray frame, overall size 43.5 x 33.5cm
