Since moving to my new studio and not having to go up and down a rickety ladder like I used to to get to my loft studio, I can now work on large (for me!) scale paintings.  I am really enjoying working with different scales, scaling up and down (just not physically on a ladder!!). This oil and cold wax painting is 91x91x5cm.  It is inspired by one of my favourite beaches where everywhere I look seems to be a visual feast, and where I can breathe deeply and enjoy the space and the elemental feel of the coastline.  The beach is lined with jungle, so wildlife is abundant, but under threat as development increases.
