We live by the river and it is a constant source of inspiration as I walk most mornings along the river bank.  These walks are rich with the changing sounds, colours and temperatures of the seasons, the shrill call of the kingfisher, the whistle of the otters, the gossiping and singing of the swins, fish jumping, trees rustling, raucous crows, all feed into my work.  The light constantly changes and delights, with big skies, gathering clours, rainbows, dramatic sunrises and sunsets.  Oils and cold wax on cradled panel set in a painted tray frame, overall size 28 x 28cm
